The final walk-through is your last opportunity to review the property before closing. At this stage, all agreed-upon conditions should be completed and the home should be in the expected condition, with the seller’s belongings removed. This step typically takes place shortly before closing and provides peace of mind that everything is in order.

Closing

Once you are satisfied, the transaction moves to closing. During this stage, all parties sign the necessary documents to finalize the sale. You will review and sign your loan and settlement paperwork, and arrange for the remaining funds required to complete the purchase.

After all documents are executed and funds are received, the transaction is recorded with the appropriate county office. At that point, ownership is officially transferred, and you can move forward with confidence in your new property.
